The Curriculum and Materials Development Committee of Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center held a meeting. Members of the Accreditation and Quality Committee and the Assessment and Evaluation Committee also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, issues concerning the improvement of FBÜTÖMER’s educational processes, the evaluation of the existing curriculum, and its revision in line with emerging needs were discussed. Views were exchanged on curriculum development in order to maintain a quality-oriented, systematic, and student-centered approach to Turkish language teaching.
As part of the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the structure of the curriculum, which aims to develop the four fundamental language skills in a balanced manner. Opinions were shared on course content, learning outcomes, the use of instructional materials, and practices designed to support learning processes, while areas for further improvement were also identified.
The meeting emphasized the objectives of enhancing the educational quality of FBÜTÖMER, ensuring that teaching materials remain up-to-date and functional, and developing the curriculum in accordance with a sustainable approach to quality.
The meeting concluded with appreciation being expressed to the committee members for their contributions and recommendations, along with a shared commitment to continuing curriculum and materials development activities through collaboration.
