The Turkish language is a language of science and art with centuries of history and literary heritage, and today it is spoken in almost every part of the world. When Turkish, spoken across geographically distant regions, is compared to a tree, it is certain that one of the strongest branches of this great tree is the Turkish spoken in Türkiye. Based on this understanding, the Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (FBÜTÖMER) was established to teach Türkiye Turkish to international learners wishing to continue their education in Türkiye and to those who wish to learn Turkish as a foreign language.
At our Center, located on the Ataşehir Campus of our University, we offer Turkish language instruction at A1, A2, B1, B2, Turkish for Proficiency Examination 1, and Turkish for Proficiency Examination 2 levels. We also conduct assessment and evaluation activities for individuals who wish to determine their Turkish language proficiency levels. Throughout the entire educational process, we attach equal importance to reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills, and we assess all four fundamental skills with the same level of care. We design our educational program by synthesizing traditional and innovative approaches. By using up-to-date language teaching techniques and internet-based applications, we make the learning process enjoyable and compatible with the modern age. We adopt the principle of learning through enjoyment and experience.
Our aim is not only to teach Turkish to our valued learners, but also to make your time in Türkiye meaningful, create lasting memories together, broaden our perspectives, become part of your journey in Türkiye, and help you represent our language in the best possible way.
We know that learning a new language can be difficult; however, we believe that by making this process enjoyable, we can introduce you to Türkiye and teach Turkish in the best possible way. We believe that you will proudly carry the Turkish language forward.
