HISTORY
Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center officially commenced its activities under the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 20 January 2020 and numbered 31014.
MISSION
The purpose of the educational activities carried out at FBÜTÖMER is to provide international students and course participants (hereinafter referred to as “learners”) with the proficiency and competence required to pursue associate, undergraduate, and graduate education programs conducted in Turkish at the University; to equip learners with Turkish language skills that will support them throughout their lives in Türkiye; and to help them live in Türkiye with an appreciation and understanding of Turkish culture. In addition to the University’s registered learners, the Center also aims to teach Turkish to international participants who wish to learn Turkish and to promote Turkish culture and Türkiye. The Center seeks to improve learners’ Turkish language skills, enrich their experience in Türkiye, and contribute to the promotion of Türkiye through Turkish by incorporating learners into non-formal educational activities via social media platforms in line with the requirements of the modern age.
VISION
Our vision is to transform our Center into a pioneering, innovative, dynamic, and respected education and research center at both national and international levels, in line with the evolving dynamics of the modern era.
