HISTORY
Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center officially commenced its activities under the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 20 January 2020 and numbered 31014.
MISSION
The mission of FBUTÖMER is to provide high-quality, student-centered, inclusive, and technology-enhanced education to individuals learning Turkish as a foreign language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), to promote the Turkish language and culture at the international level, to contribute to the generation of scholarly knowledge and the development of innovative practices in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language, and to support learners’ academic, professional, and lifelong learning development through a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
VISION
The vision of FBUTÖMER is to become a leading center for practice and research that is recognized nationally and internationally for its contributions to the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language, pioneering scholarly research, innovative practices, and digital transformation. Through a quality-oriented management approach, FBUTÖMER seeks to integrate education, research, and intercultural engagement while serving as a leading reference point in the field.
