On 24 April 2026, the
Module Evaluation Meeting, Curriculum and Materials Development Commission
Meeting, Assessment and Evaluation Commission Meeting, and Accreditation and
Quality Commission Meeting were held with the participation of the academic and
administrative staff of Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching
Application and Research Center (FBÜTÖMER).
During the meetings, the
Module III process was first reviewed comprehensively. The curriculum
implemented, course materials used, and educational activities conducted during
Module III were evaluated, and views were exchanged regarding the overall outcomes
of the module.
At the Assessment and
Evaluation Commission Meeting, participants exchanged views on the assessment
and evaluation activities and examinations conducted during the previous
module. Plans were developed for the assessment tools, exam formats, and
evaluation criteria to be used in Module IV, and the feedback received was
discussed.
At the Curriculum and
Materials Development Commission Meeting, the curriculum and materials to be
used in Module IV were presented to the instructors by the Chair of the
Commission. The subsequent Evaluation and Information Meeting focused directly
on the planning of Module IV. Comprehensive information was provided on the new
module’s course schedule, implementation principles, and objectives, and the
entire process was coordinated in detail.
At the Accreditation and
Quality Commission Meeting, the activities undertaken to maintain the Center’s
quality standards and support the accreditation process were reviewed.
Improvement measures aimed at ensuring the continuity of educational quality were
also evaluated.
The meetings were
concluded successfully and productively as part of FBÜTÖMER’s efforts to
enhance the quality of education and prepare effectively for the new module.
