A Management Review
Meeting was held at Fenerbahçe University from 3 to 5 February. During the
meeting, the annual activities of the University’s units were evaluated, while
ongoing work, quality processes, and objectives for the upcoming period were
discussed.
During the session held
on 4 February, Lecturer Egemen Ozan Sönmez, Director of Fenerbahçe University
Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (FBÜTÖMER), delivered
a comprehensive presentation on the Center’s annual activities. Sönmez began
his presentation by extending his greetings and thanks to the Rector of
Fenerbahçe University, Prof. Dr. Fatma Kanca; Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şükriye
Güniz Küçükgüzel; and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yıldırım Üçtuğ.
The presentation provided
detailed information on the academic and administrative activities carried out
by FBÜTÖMER throughout 2025. In this context, participants were informed about
the Center’s assessment and evaluation activities, curriculum development
efforts, accreditation and quality assurance processes, institutional meetings,
academic and cultural events, and participation in national and international
events.
Quality-oriented
practices implemented within the scope of accreditation activities, steps taken
to improve standards, and initiatives supporting institutional sustainability
were among the key topics highlighted in the presentation. Information was also
provided on the evaluation of the Center’s current practices and the activities
planned for implementation in the coming period.
The Management Review
Meeting contributed to the comprehensive evaluation of the units’ activities
and to strengthening the University’s quality assurance and institutional
development processes.
