FBÜTÖMER, which began its
Module I courses on 6 October, organized a comprehensive orientation program in
Turkish and English for its A1, A2, and B1 students on 6–7 October 2025. The
program was conducted by Lecturer Egemen Ozan SÖNMEZ, Director of the Center.
During the orientation,
students were introduced to the University and FBÜTÖMER and were provided with
detailed information about course procedures, the examination system, and the
use of digital platforms such as OIS, Blackboard, and Outlook. They were also
informed about how to contact the University’s administrative units, including
Student Affairs, Financial Affairs, and the International Office, as well as
the responsibilities of these units.
In addition, students
received guidance on effective communication and the rules of academic email
writing. Lecturer Egemen Ozan SÖNMEZ emphasized the importance of observing
formal correspondence conventions throughout academic processes.
At the end of the
program, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the topics they
were interested in. Stating that FBÜTÖMER would always support students
throughout their educational journey, Lecturer Egemen Ozan SÖNMEZ wished all
students every success in the new semester.
