FBÜTÖMER organized an
orientation program for its A1-level students on 16 April 2025 as part of
Module IV. The program was delivered by Melek Buse Durak, Department Secretary.
During the orientation,
students were provided with detailed information about course procedures, the
examination system, and the use of platforms such as OIS, Blackboard, and
Outlook. They were also informed about the University’s administrative units, including
Student Affairs, Financial Affairs, and the International Office, as well as
the responsibilities and locations of these units and how to contact them.
The importance of
effective communication with academic and administrative staff was emphasized.
Students were informed about how to access their instructors’ email addresses
and the conventions of email writing, and were reminded of the rules they should
observe in written communication throughout their academic processes.
At the end of the
program, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual
responses. FBÜTÖMER stated that it would continue to support its students
throughout their education and wished them every success.
