Lecturer Egemen Ozan
SÖNMEZ, Director of Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application
and Research Center, participated in the Information Meeting for Language
Center Administrators, organized online by the Association for the Evaluation and
Accreditation of Language Learning and Preparatory Centers (DÖDAK) on 8 April
2025.
The meeting, attended by
approximately 150 administrators from 95 different universities, was moderated
by Prof. Dr. Nezir Temur, Chair of the DÖDAK Executive Board. During the
meeting, Prof. Dr. Temur provided comprehensive information on the history of
the Association, its operating principles, and the accreditation process, and
shared the steps to be followed by institutions seeking accreditation.
The functioning of the
system was also explained through examples using the documents and forms
available on DÖDAK’s website. The meeting, during which participants’
questions, opinions, and suggestions were addressed, concluded with productive
exchanges.

Ozan SÖNMEZ emphasized that the meeting represented an important step in
strengthening quality assurance and institutional development at Turkish
language teaching centers.
