FBÜTÖMER, which began its
Module III courses on 3 February, organized a comprehensive orientation program
for its students on 5 February. The program was conducted by Center Director
Egemen Ozan SÖNMEZ and Department Secretary Melek Buse DURAK, who provided
students at all levels with detailed information about the University and
FBÜTÖMER.
During the orientation,
students received detailed information about courses, the examination system,
and the use of platforms such as OIS, Blackboard, and Outlook. They were also
introduced to the University’s administrative units. The responsibilities and
locations of departments such as Student Affairs, Financial Affairs, and the
International Office were explained, along with information on how students
could contact these units.
The importance of
communicating effectively with academic and administrative staff was also
emphasized. Students were informed about how to access their instructors’ email
addresses and the conventions of email writing. They were reminded to observe
formal email correspondence rules throughout their academic processes.
At the end of the
program, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the topics they
were interested in. FBÜTÖMER representatives stated that they would continue to
support students throughout their education and wished them every success.
