Exam
Venue
The
written exam will be held in Examination Room B210, located in Building B
(D-11) at Fenerbahçe University Ataşehir Campus. The speaking exam will be held
in Examination Room B109.
Exam
Duration
The
Turkish Proficiency Exam consists of two parts: a written exam and a speaking
exam. The written exam lasts 185 minutes.
The
second stage of the exam is the speaking exam. The speaking exam will be
administered between 13:45 and 17:30 on 20 November. Each student’s speaking
exam session will last 15 minutes.
Exam
Content
The
Turkish Proficiency Exam assesses the four main language skills: reading,
listening, writing, and speaking.
The
reading section consists of 40 multiple-choice questions and 10 true-or-false
questions. The listening section consists of four listening texts, 9
multiple-choice questions, and 10 true-or-false questions. The writing section
consists of one question.
Speaking
skills are assessed during the second stage of the exam. This section is
divided into two parts: Independent Speaking and Interactive Speaking. In the
Independent Speaking section, students speak about one of the topics presented
to them. In the Interactive Speaking section, candidates answer questions asked
by the examiner and participate in a dialogue.
Requirements
Before the Exam
You
must be present at the University at least 30 minutes before the Turkish
Proficiency Exam begins.
As
each student will take the speaking exam individually and in alphabetical
order, students’ speaking exam times will be announced on the TÖMER notice
board located on the first floor of Building B.
Students
taking the exam must bring their student ID cards, passports, or another valid
identification document for identity verification.

Results
The
results of the Fenerbahçe University Turkish Proficiency Exam will be announced
on the Center’s website at https://fbutomer.fbu.edu.tr.
